Hyatt pushed their grand opening back. Again. Scrambling to book Atlantis.  Beyond the "deals" on their website, any suggestions? Looking for a room in a nicer tower.
if u can get a hold of marriott points. it has an amazing value for the cove. for the others as well but the cove is the most expensive.

Uh oh! October 1. That's a BIG push bag. What happens to all the reservations that were booked from June - September? They just cancel or put you up elsewhere?

My reservations are for the end of November, so hopefully they are up and running by then.

Looks like it is a payment dispute that is delaying the opening. Looks like there is still a lot of work to do from the pic in this article.

Any cheaper rental car options in NAS?  All I'm seeing is $65/day for a smallest Eco car even with status.

Going on Sunday and not sure where we're staying yet, but we'll be diving off the south side of the island so I figure a car would be nice.  We'll probably just find an AirBnb.

The Baha Mar looks like it will be incredible, but tons of construction going on as of last week.

You saw actual work going on? From this article is doesn't look like things are back on track yet: http://www.tribune242.com/news/2015/jun/17/contractors-seek-govt-baha-mar-intervention/

"Construction companies are maintaining ‘skeleton’ crews on-site to preserve and secure work already completed, but no new building activity will occur until the two sides resolve their differences and pay what they owe."

Fair enough. I saw barricades, workmen, and shipping containers being unloaded. There were also signs one day for a special preview that was going on.

I didn't stay in the cove but I stayed in the coral towers for free on casino promotion. Not sure what best tower for kids would be. You probably want one that's more centrally located for the water park and activities etc so maybe the royal towers. The cove is not adults only. They have one or two POOLS that are adults only (difference being only that children are not allowed)
