DO NOT DO IT AT HOTEL

while its convenient
1. its more expensive

BUT

2. You don't get to interact with them the same as you do off site

Has anyone stayed at the Rosewood Baha Mar? Amex wants 85,000 MR a night! Any other points I can use?

Price sounds crazy. Maybe book with hyatt? Or consider atlantis with marriott/spg

28k SPG it's not terrible

but value it at $560 a night
whats the cash price?

595 a night is cash price, there is no SPG option as far as I can tell...

he was referring to Amex Membership rewards, not Marriott.

Anyone stay at the Hyatt Baha Marr and the Atlantis and can talk to the advantages/ disadvantages between the two?

Are you traveling with kids?

Grand Hyatt is closer to the airport, a newer property with great pools and beautiful casino. Beach was a bit disappointing - but all the non-motorized water activities (kayak, stand up paddle board, snorkels, etc.) are included in the resort fee.

Atlantis has the benefit of a nicer beach, water park, but is crowded and the rooms are older/tired (see all the comments up thread regarding the various towers) and everything has a cost (aside from the two free bottles of water you get when you check in).

The waterpark is a huge plus if you have kids that meet the height limit. Not so much fun when some kids meet the height requirement and others don't.

Thanks!! Not traveling with kids. Decided on Hyatt, though I really hope the beach isn’t too disappointing. Did you bring food to the Hyatt to warm up? How are they in that regard?
