So, $55 for 1 night.
Seems like a no-brainer to me? What else am I missing? Can you use the waterpark on the day of checkin and checkout?
Yes you can use it the whole time. My point was that the status match free nights are once lifetime so you would be blowing that on the one night but if you never plan on using it ever then definitely get the room. (and use all the free water voucher they give you to stock up on water bottles for your whole trip). Don't know about the limits per room if they would allow a 3rd child. I went with 2 children in room.

Staying at the GH, so no real need for the room.
I am curious.
Why did you choose the GH over the Cove?
I am still deciding between the two.

they have the cleanest beach in bahamas, clean it every night. the rapid lazy river in the waterpark is a big favorite of ours, we cant wait to go back. also, u got to do the leap of faith (just dont look at it from the side, get on line and go down and look after).

This is the leap of faith (so fast u won’t be able to really scream before u are done). Also remember to bring tons of drinks/food as everything is really expensive at Atlantis.

Yes the aquarium is pretty cool. There's a nice out doors portion of it with turtles and cool sharks and sting rays. Inside there is a whole tunnel system through an aquarium. Also, if you go down to the Beach tower they have a lazy river and a water area geared more for real little kids. Also, they have a Shark cave where you can walk underwater in a tunnel with sharks swimming around you. There also is an option to rent the classic paddle boats in their lake. Also, I'm not sure if they still give you the dolphin adventure with the casino pass anymore but if they do you can do that (1 person)

GH has a mini shark/ray viewing place they also have a pretty cool bird santuary where they give you sticks with food stuck on and all the birds come to eat as you hold it... also they have a free boat to balmor island if you want a change or to do dolphin swimming...

Is there enough to do at the GH from Sun-Thurs that it's not worth messing with the Atlantis?

Hmm. How many times would it be worth shlepping there from the GH? More than once?

Definitely a full day there (they close the place at 5). I would say that there is plenty to keep busy with and enjoy for 2 full days at the water park and other activities.

Did you stay there? Is the waterpark worth it? Any booking notes?
I was there last month for a few days. I was a little underwhelmed with the water park thinking it would be a whole separate area, rather it is interspersed with the resort and hotel pools and there may be some walking involved from one activity to another. Overall definitively kid friendly especially with the entire area that's meant for toddlers that will be great for your kids. The wave river was a great ride that you'll have to try.

Get a Royal Tower room as it's very centrally located for the water park.

My point was that the status match free nights are once lifetime so you would be blowing that on the one night
You can definitely status match more than once and it seems that you can take advantage of the free nights annually if you have the status.

Are there DP's that show this as accurate? Meaning when your status drops and you rematch it you can get again?
