There were rumored that they were going bankrupt since no one goes there in the winter. Maybe that has something to do with it. Either way I had a great experience.

Also they have Shabbos keys and a stairwell that does not go thru the hotel at all. I actually stayed their Yom Kippur. There is also a direct train to manhattan, 56 min I think. Train station is walkable about 6 blocks.
