I no longer recommend this company. The original one that I posted stopped recording properly. The files were corrupted. I complained to them and then sent me a newer model, but I noticed that it has some of the same type of corrupted video issues. I think the rear video works fine; it was good enough to pin an accident on a truck driver that hit me, so it's not completely worthless.
However, I am in the market for a replacement.
ETA: Before looking for a replacement, I changed the resolution to 1080p. Perhaps that will solve the issues.

Random note about dashcams. It’s worth checking that the memory card is functioning properly every so often. I noticed mine wasn’t at one point, seems it got damaged from the sun.

ChrisFix specifically mentioned that you should get a "high endurance" SD card for a dashcam.

Not the person I'd go to for recommending tech or pretty much any product for that matter.

It's one thing if they are giving you the item cheaper and it's only a subscription. Here your paying full price for your car with it's cameras there's no monthly updates needed for a dashcam..

I bought a Thinkware FA200 at least 4 years ago with a sepearate 64gb Samsung SD card. Front and back camera, records audio, but no speed or GPS. Been working perfectly ever since, and the camera quality is great. Was $50 at the time I got it and I can't believe it hasn't failed on me. No updates or subscriptions to worry about!
