depends which one, they go as low as 6000 a night, EHD has a list of free ones.

I'll confess. I was a very bad boy and put random numbers in for my passport. Not really sure I want them having my number anyway and hasn't mattered for stays in the past.

Haha, was thinking I don't know this program either and would be concerned to give them my passport number.

Anyone ever stay at one of these hotels before? Anyone ever hear of this chain...?

I have stayed before. Company is legitimate. They are especially large in Spain. The individual properties vary widely in quality so best to look at tripadvisor if you have something in mind. They have some very nice resorts that are huge numbers of points. Perfectly fine mid-range options in Madrid. I will also add that they have some Cuba options that are bookable with points but do not display if searching the regular way. If you want to look at those go to the hotel directory, then cuba.

Got my 12K points, says they expire today

but I know my travel dates, so I'll try to book now.

you may have read it wrong. It says this date but 2015

That's for the 2000 welcome points I believe. The 10,000 bonus points must be used to book before April 30th.

+1 good catch. This is awesome! Found rooms so far for the nights I need. Don't see why I shouldn't be opening accounts for my wife, mother, etc. especially since it says share with your friends and family.

Anyone try opening up 2 accounts yet and use the same email address?
Any idea if the name on the booking is not my name, will it be a problem?

Did you see if they let you put a name on the reservation other than the account holders?

Just tried using same email for wife's account (for convenience purposes). Didn't work. Will use her email.

Yeah, there was a spot to add a name. Interesting. Seems like it would work then to book it for someone else.

I'd venture to say the only reason it wasn't was because of the limited amount of hotels this = free night for.

Use Chrome. It has built in translation.
But even better, on the top right corner of the page is a button to switch to their English site.
