Rep said, if your birthday is listed on your account, you will be emailed a code on your birthday that can be used up until your next birthday (1 year) for a BOGO free night. If you pay for 1 night, you get the second free. If you pay for 2 nights, you get the 3rd free. etc.

Interestingly, AwardWallet just told me I earned 10K in my Melia account, yet I definitely haven't touched that account since I used it for this deal.

It seems like I got 10K in August without realizing, and that it was used for a booking in December. Ummm?
If I actually cared about this account, I would be more concerned, but I'll probably call them once to see what that was all about.
