How can one go about publicizing nationally (radio, newspaper etc.) that US air refuses to honor their legal obligations?
Negative publicity can sometimes achieve wonders.

anybody that feels that us airways has illegally refused to honor their tickets purchased on 4/22/14. Please publicize it immediately on social media (facebook, twitter...) and any other public media that they can.

I just spoke to the DOT to a gentleman named Douglas Davis. He said this is the first he is hearing of the cancellation issue but that anyone who recieved a confirmation can/should email them their confirmation that they recieved from Wideroe. I told him there were hundreds if not thousands of cancellations given and he seemed very upset and concerned. His email address is douglas.e.davis@dot.gov and the subject should read Wideroe/US Airways Cancellation

Shot him an email with my confirmation email attached.

i actually got a ticket, i booked tuesday night at 1045pm and got my eticket confirmation at 1110pm
today i called usairways and had them sent me my confirmation for my ticket etc...
and it says that i paid $538 , when in reality i paid 538 euro, is there anyway to fight this to get the difference back?

I made two tickets.  One I received a confirmation email and no cancellation but the rep assured me it's cancelled and the other I never even received a confirmation email.

Us airways is on the list plus when trying to book a ticket to Israel right now it's offering me an elal ticket which is NOT on the list. I think they have it backwards

nope, plus the first thing i did when i recieved my eticket number was long onto usairways and email myself my confirmation from there. that was just back up

Try chatting with them in Swedish, it's fun.
First they told me it was due to no ticketing agreement, so I showed her their website that says they do have one.
Then she said I must have booked a different airline, and I said I didn't.
Then she said it was due to a price mistake, so I told her that the cancellation email was a lie.

Either way, Swedish is a cool language to copy/paste from Google Translate. Very Viking'ish
