Booking Out Of A Delta Premier Account

When booking a mileage ticket out of a United premier account, the traveler will get premier benefits, does anyone know if this is the case when booking a mileage ticket out of a Delta premier account as well?

IIRC someone reported a while ago getting premier benefits when booked out of a AA premier account. Maybe it was misinformation..
