The GCs are shipped separately from their 'activation code' for security purposes. They may arrive up to a few days after the GCs.  If you don't get your activation code or they are delayed and you are in a hurry:
Call 1-866-357-7391, press 3 to speak to a CSR.

Recently they've sometimes been emailing activation codes. Also check your spam folder.


PSA:  VISA rebate cards may be an issue if used to purchase VCG's from Staples online. It seems to be YMMV.  With larger orders more likely to invite scrutiny.
In store they work fine.

I received my staples gift cards and it says that I was mailed the activation codes (to purchaser) where do I get that? I didnt receive anything

Have you ever been thanked by Chase themselves for buying GC's? Well then listen up!
I was on my way to the airport this morning, of course using Uber which has amazing service! When suddenly I get a call to my surprise it was chase and my heart skipped a beat I was sure it was bad news.... With 1 ink 6500/8500 and another 4000/5000 and this card most of it was GC purchases.
He starts to ask me about my buisness...which doesn't exist... ;) he tells me he wants to help me get the most points with 5x. He starts with office stores thanking me for buying all my GC's..... I thought it was pretty nice!!
