For some reason they don't work when used online to buy gift cards from Staples. I had the same issue back in January when I tried to buy a $100 Visa GC. The ridiculous thing is that it takes 30-45 days for them to put the funds back on the rebate card. I must have HUCA'd a hundred times trying to get them to send me a new one or process the refund faster and they said no.

Someone should make a PSA that VISA rebate cards cannot be used to purchase VCG's from Staples online. In store they work fine.

Q: It doesn't work for VGC's only ? What about plastic GC's they're going to mail to you? Or do you mean all on line orders?

I only tried to buy VGC with them so I couldn't say if purchasing regular items are a problem or not.

I have used them successfully, so change the wiki again.

Im my (LIMITED) experience, the larger the order through Staples for GCs, the more scrutiny to which it was submitted, the more potential for problems, cancellations, etc.

Just to clarify, were you were able to use a Visa Rebate Card like the one pictured below to purchase VGC's online from Staples? I tried 3 times with 3 different rebate cards and all 3 orders were canceled and I was only trying to order 1 VGC. After the 3rd time I realized the rebate cards were the problem.
