per transaction, not per CC. this is also YMMV per store on the 2k limit.

Do it online. You can buy 10 cards per transaction, 5 transactions per day.

Iv had success buying $4k at one shot in staples stores outside of big Jewish cities...

I made 4 orders for GC's online, 10, 9, 8, 7... The next day I got a call from staples to verify that it was me and my card wasn't stolen, I told him it was me and verified my info, and he said he'll process the order.... Iv heard of this happening for orders of higher than 10. But 10 and under should be OK.. Should I be worried?

You should be happy that Staples cares enough to call you when purchases come up on your card that are reckless but NOT one large purchase.

In the future, I would suggest buying them a bit more... normally. If you want to avoid delays and scrutiny, wait a day or two at least between large orders.

yup and made an order on my wife account that day and it hit right away........ we both got A/A the next day?

? I am 99% sure unrelated just turned off that my card is closed for 7 weeks and got hit with 2k!

I updated the wiki with the proper way to get to CS to activate w/o activation letter. Link said press 0 many times. That will just disconnect you. Press 3 for CSR.

IMO this is much easier than doing it online. One call does entire order, but takes 1-2 hrs to be active.
