I was flying with a friend who forgot a carry-on on a Alitalia flight which landed in Rome. The carry on had some really important stuff in it (bridesmaid dress, shoes, work papers etc) I have called the airline and the airport and they said that they have a record of a bag which was left on the plane, but they told me that the only way for me to get in touch with the department who takes care of this is through email, fax or snail mail. I sent an email but they haven't responded yet. Seeing as to how I am not in Rome I have no way of going to the airport to ask around for the bag.
Any helpful ideas?
