Need a great carryon and backpack for professional work - 2-5 day trips with some pre-packaged meals and tallis+tefillin.
I've checked out Tumi and while a good company, I get the impression that they are more brand than value.
I've checked out higher end Travelpro VersaPack - they seem reliable.
What are the new breakthrough/new features to consider for carry-ons (basics: front pocket. pockets. Look premium. Expandable. Warranty and quality. )
How is the Briggs & Riley Or the Nomatic, or Sway, better? What do you recommend for carry-on?
Any recommendations on backpack criteria to consider would be appreciated as well.
