Topic Wiki

This is the thread for all random/general questions about Southwest. The official airline code for Southwest is WN as SW was taken by Air Namibia, but many people on the forums refer to Southwest as SW since no one talks about Air Namibia ever.

For questions about any of the SW CC's, see here.
For questions about the SW Companion Pass, see here.
For questions about auto-checkin to SW flights, see here. (Follow the wiki to learn how to set it up.)

If I book a southwest flight for Pesach and then get companion pass, will I be able to add the companion onto the ticket in February or March?

I assume with the SW premier card as that seems to be the only card I can find a 50k offer, if you cancel within 6 months you get the AF refunded. is that correct?

I stupidly booked a wanna get away fare instead of a refundable fare to take advantage of a city prestige airline credit. Anyone ever had luck getting them to refund it instead of the credit only usable for the traveler?

I got a store to do a return which should've had the bonus come off  in December then back on in January. It did not work Chase said they can't touch the points once they put them in Rapid rewards....   Does anybody have any other suggestions?

I got an email

Buy Rapid Rewards Points and earn 40% bonus points. Or, add 40% more points to a loved one's account when you gift or transfer points.

IS it worth it?

Today i got email

Spring forecast: 35% bonus points

It's time to say farewell to winter, and hello to a well-deserved vacation.

If you need a few more points to get you closer to that spring getaway, buy what you need and earn 35% bonus points on your purchase. Plus, add 35% more points to a friend or family member's account when you gift or transfer points.

Make your purchase by April 24 to earn a bonus

Sounds tempting.
