Topic Wiki

This is the thread for all random/general questions about Southwest. The official airline code for Southwest is WN as SW was taken by Air Namibia, but many people on the forums refer to Southwest as SW since no one talks about Air Namibia ever.

For questions about any of the SW CC's, see here.
For questions about the SW Companion Pass, see here.
For questions about auto-checkin to SW flights, see here. (Follow the wiki to learn how to set it up.)

SW canceled DW ticket and refunded the points to her account.

While I was seated on the plane they checked if three passengers were on the plane. First was announced DW name, I slumped in my seat.  :)
Then they said my name so I raised my hand. Then they asked if DW boarded. I shuck my head no. Then they went on to the third passenger.
Man that's scary. Best of luck.

Book now and you can always cancel/change for free. Every flight I been on has been 3x3. You can also check seat guru.

Southwest only flies 737 so naturally all flight would be 3X3.

+1!

If want to book now , book now. If you want to wait, wait. However if waiting drives you crazy your better off booking now.

If I book a flight using RR points, do I get spending points for that? Or only if I book with the CC?

Another question, if I'm aiming for a CP with 110k RR points, what happens if I use some my points before that? Is the idea of 110k RR points to accumulate that amount as a final number, or is it about earning that amount altogether even if some was spent in the interim?

Yay!!!
Can you also answer my first question if spending RR points will earn me more spending points? Or is that asking for too much?

No. We're all looking for an airline that'll do that

Does SW have any night-time flights out of LGA/ISP/EWR flying westward? I don't care which city cuz it's a stop and I want to book the second leg of the trip with a different airline.

I tried numerous destination airports and none have past 4 pm departure. I would be interested in motze shabbos March 2.

They have a daily evening flight from either LGA or EWR to STL. I think it leaves around 6-7pm or so.
