Well the Twitter reps managed to get a rep to call me from my local branch. She of course didn't know anything and the notes indicating the closure don't explain it either. She now has to go to her back office to figure this out.
Citi is pathetic. No wonder they cave to Operation Choke Point. They took the government bailout and now they are their lap dogs.
EDIT: Comical! Bank reps and bank managers were shot down by the "back office". I kept telling the bank firmly the reason they kept providing ("we have reviewed your accounts and decided to close it"), is not a REASON but and explanation of the action they were doing. The rep got nasty and hung up!
We already had another smaller bank come into the office today and I met with them. After seeing my accounts they were very happy to have me on board. Makes me wonder why citi is really struggling as a bank
