I think the best value is with car rentals through their booking tools. I hate to cash them out for so little value but it will probably have to be gift cards.

Spoke on the phone the other day with the "unreachable" Executive Response Unit and they too couldn't/wouldn't give me any answers. I don't see a letter being any different. Does the Stork and any clout here?

I've moved on. I convinced someone who had 7 figures in Citibank that this "royal treatment" is a real possibility for him as well. He closed his account down today.
 in favor of a smaller community bank. He agreed with me he is more likely to properly build a relationship there.
Citi is too big to care. I'm happy to move on.
