How to transfer money abroad cost efficiently?

I searched and didn't find a related topic on ddf.

I have to transfer some cash to a sibling in the UK. I'm in the US. He has a US account but no way of accessing it. Is there a more cost efficient way to transfer other than wire transfer? I don't think the Uk has amazon payments

Stupid me, I didn't search for "wire" when I did the search so that thread didn't come up. I'll look into  both the thread and google wallet. Thank you!

Thank you. I'll look up Xoom and us forex. I am loc in the US. When I asked the chase bank they said its a 45 flat fee.
