Seems to provide a statement credit for a penny a piece. Needs a login to see the travel rewards.

3% unlimited cash back on flights is not bad at all.

From SD:
Points can be redeemed at 1c = 1 point for statement credit or a check, making the 40k points worth $400 (plus the $100 in incident airline charges to bring us to $100). You can also redeem them for airline tickets, it's supposed to also be 1c = 1 point, but for some reason it turns out to be more like 1.5c = 1 point. You do have to pay a $24 booking fee though.

Here is my experience, it might help others.
I applied for Propel World.
Two pulls, TU and EX (in NY).
Despite high credit score, and income on the books, Wells Fargo denied it.
They initially requested that I substantiate my income with tax returns, which I did.
Then they denied the appliaction, and the reps said it was due to "high credit to disposable income ratio".
This is even though I carry no balance over from month to month.

[By way of comparison, I applied for other cards with BoFa, Chase and Barclays on the same day, and every single other card was approved with credit lines in the high teens.]

This sounds like a card to avoid.
Unless someone else has had a better experience.

Same experience. To me it looks like you must have a banking relationship with them.

I applied. And they needed income verification. Waste of a pull. My advice don't do it If you have no banking relationship.

Congrats! I take credit for that :)

But my experience is similar to that of the previous posters. They are a difficult nut to crack.

Just saw this card on with same 40k offer. Any recent experience applying for the card? Are they still giving hard time to non-WF customers?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.
