E and F are down so MTA says it will cross honor metro cards on LIRR

I assume it means they'll let you take the LIRR on a similar route without paying the full fare, rather just the amount of a metrocard swipe.

i was thinking that, but that isnt so fair for someone with an unlimited metrocard
