It's probably more about buzz. Not enough of a discount compared to a Global Express

Just 1 residence.

Oh. My. Gd.

Etihad once again creates the most beautifully stunning aesthetic interior. They have NAILED it.

For goodness sake, the business product on the A380 makes most carriers F's look embarrassing.

Emirates who?

Depends on many factors but somewhere in between $80-150k roundtrip. Doesnt make a difference how many passengers.

Exactly, so for two passengers this might make sense and presents a serious discount over going private

$20k pp one way is 80k round trip for 2.

Also, many people own jets, so the marginal cost of operating them is even lower. I know people who own jets but fly commercial where there's a high end first class available to save on gas costs. 20% savings ain't gonna do it though.

I thought it was $20k for two
Upon further review I'd guess neither of us are correct. It'll probably be somewhere in between for two pax

Now the question is how to get at least the first class apartments or biz with miles - both look outstanding..
I also like this competition, because it blows away everyone else's first.  However, an 8 hour flight?  Not worth it - they need to put this on ultra long haul routes.

AA does not even have a residences award chart....  ;D

Anyone think they will release them for award? If something, it would be close to the flight.
