Best gift you ever received
« on: May 05, 2014, 07:40:28 PM »
I'm looking specifically to buy a housewarming gift but it doesn't necessarily have to be house related.

So I'm wondering what was the best gift you ever received? And I'm talking an actual gift..not looking for any sentimental answers here nice as they may be. :)

Looking to buy two gifts. One for under $80. The other doesn't really have a limit. Not lookijg to spend 1,000's of $$ here but no hard limit.

Nice Bar would be good for a housewarming gift if they don't have one yet...

Best gift we got was a Shabbos lamp, never had one before but have since gotten one for each room in our house.

That was the worst thing I was ever given :P

Or if your budget is high enough, a Nespresso machine.
Heaven.

And their budget, those refills are almost a buck a piece. But yeah Nespresso is heaven.

You also have to factor in what they will appreciate.
Do they take pride in their decor?  A wall hanging
Do they have/like pretty 'stuff'? a silver bowl/ vase, Nice challah cover/board
Are they practical? practical and like 'stuff' ?  A shabbos lamp, soda stream (if they drink fizzy), Keurig / Nespresso machine

Haven't paid for any yet between the $75 starter credit and stocking up at hotels :)
But they're not that expensive either way.

Do you mean that .75 a piece is not expensive or that you can get them for cheaper, if so where?

Think how much an Espresso (or other drink) would cost if you went to your local Coffee shop.
If that's more then .75 then this is worth it IMHO.
