Flying through YYZ

I will be flying through YYZ on my way to Israel in a few days. I have never done this before and was hoping someone who has could give me advice. I have scoured google and the forums with no luck. I only have a 1 hour 45 min stopover with2 toddlers so would like to be prepared as possible, so I don't miss my connecting flight. Do I have to clear customs? Do I have to claim my luggage and recheck it?

When I flew through there two or three years ago I had to clear customs and recheck my bags. Don't know if anything changed since then.

Thank you! How long do you think that will take? What does the process entail? I have to go to baggage claim, wait for my bags, and then take them back to the ticketing desk?

can't know for sure but shouldn't take too long. It's usually shorter customs lines being that it's special lines for connecting flights. And right after customs is a conveyor belt to drop your bags. (they should already be tagged to tlv from your departure city.)

Rarely any lines entering Canada at YYZ. After you claim your bags they direct you to a special place to recheck your bags. You don't wait on the regular line

International-YYZ-US your bags are transferred and you don't clear customs

It's air Canada that flies YYZ TLV it won't show standard awards.

When arriving YYZ I have to recheck by bags if my final dest is YUL, correct? Now when I pick up my luggage do I have to check in again like I have a YYZ-YUL ticket, or is there a dedicated connection drop off belt and I drop off my bags over there and proceed to security?

There is a dedicated place to recheck ur bags, and then you go through security all over... Did this last year.

How far from baggage claim? I have an hour and 10 minute connection, is it enough?
