IC Royal Ambassador

Browsing the forums I have not seen many people post recently about IC Royal Ambassador status. Currently I have Hyatt Diamond and Marriott Platinum but I am taking my first trip to Israel at the end of April and have a couple other stays following where some status at IC would be helpful as I do not have say in the hotel selection. Anyone in here have Royal Ambassador status and able to speak about the treatment while staying in Israel?

Any tips or suggestions for obtaining RA would be appreciated. Perhaps you have referral still available or know someone else who does?

nope try re-reading. you can buy ambassador status for $200 not royal ambassador

You must pay $200 to become Ambassador then if you have a referral certificate (which RA's get if they have enough stays to keep Royal Ambassador status for the next year) given to you by a RA you can upgrade.
You can buy referral certificates on eBay they usually go for around 1k.

I thought what changed was that it used to be as soon as you became a RA you had the option to refer someone and now you only have the option to refer someone if you qualify to renew your  RA status (I think it's 40 nights in at least two IC properties)
I may be incorrect as I haven't actively been following this for a while.

I spoke to them. Ambassador is a dependant paid program. Ijg cannot distribute
