11" depth is an advantage IMO, it saves space and you don't have that extra gap at the front or back so it's easier to keep it all lined up neatly

I’ve had these bookcases for 7 years and very pleased with them. I have the naharda chossen shas (bottom left in pic) and a very large Shu’a too

Interesting, My Shas sticks out quite a bit. It’s currently in the bottom shelf (reinforced underneath) of an IKEA Hemnes bookcase that’s like 13” depth and I’m not liking how it sticks out. My Billy bookcases have held up better than Hemnes ones.

I have many of them. Some shelves sag slightly, particularly if heavy sforim are put on. (Doesn’t bother me at all.)

I have the Billy in blue and I have the shas on the bottom shelf and the Tur/Shulchan Aruch on the second and they have held up nicely so far. They fit perfectly, so I'm not sure why people are having issues, unless sizes have changed.

I've had my Billy bookshelves for almost 19 years and they have held up well. My kids have SLAMMED the glass doors we attached, yet they're still intact. Also survived a move. I have an artscroll shas that fits the entire two bottom shelves in two bookcases, and they have no sag.
