I'm going to Hawaii with my wife (first time for both of us) for 7-10 days around November 2014, and to Israel with my wife and four kids (first visit in 15+years for her and me, and first-time ever for the yung'uns) for 2+ weeks in July 2015. I've been lurking on Dansdeals for years and have diligently collected 300k+ of both Starwood points and UR points , and I have all the related credit cards (2 Amex Starwood, a Chase Freedom, 2 Ink Bolds, 3 Sapphires). But now that it comes to actually using up those points, I'm simply overwhelmed with information. I started reading up on it but there are just so many Master Threads and Wikis and posts on traveling to these places, it will take me forever and a year to intelligently plan an itinerary.
Could you [recommend someone who could] talk (yes, people apparently still do that these days, what a novel concept) me through all this? Yes, I'd pay for the hand-holding.....
