Before buying gsm phones to use in different networks. Make sure the phone has the "bands" that your network requires .
I have a unlocked iPhone 3gs with a T-Mobile Sim card . in my area I only get 2g but when I travel to NYC or other big city's I get 3g

Decided to call TMoible and here is the info on this card .

Seems quite fair . You can opt for the pay as you go plan with a minimum of $10 on the phone which is good for 90 days.
You must do a refill before 90 days (say 89) or you lose the number. You have 90 days to activate it or lose the number.
Calls are .30 a minute and text are .10 a text. Minimum the phone cost to be in your possession (minus phone is $40 a year.
Decided its worth it and once again thank you for finding this deal!

Got the sim today. It says if I cancel my plan I must return my "device". Does that mean the SIM card ?

I might not. I don't recall during purchase it saying that I would have to return it. If I paid for it (1 cent) isn't it mine to keep ?

Doesn't make sense what they told me. If I use it then cancel why would they want a used chip back.
The phone would just expire in 90 days
Haven't crossed that bridge yet. Just don't want to do anything to be on the hook financially where they can
bill me on my family plan . But since Im keeping it doesn't seem to be an issue. Call TMobile to verify

This isn't a new line just the physical SIM which usually costs $10.
Just note, that it's prepaid and most people, including you, want/need postpaid, as prepaid doesn't have Global service. This SIM cannot be used for postpaid.
