Getting out of a priceline hotel reservation

Does anyone know if there is a way to get out of a priceline hotel reservation? I purchased the insurance but they say you need a letter from a doctor or some other proof that you cant make the trip.

evryone should know a good doctor but not every one knows a dr which DOCTORS documents
