Only if you try to max out going back on it. But its very minor. Like when you stretch from sitting too long you tend to push the seat way back then a bit of a short creek. I just tried it lol

very soft. and cowhide double  stitch don't think it will be coming apart at the seams especially the arms so fast like other models But that's only my opinion because I have it only a couple of months. There is a warranty on it though through manufacturer which I used for a part already and it came in a couple of days
