Bubbe needs help!cellphones for Europe/ Israel trip, please!

Hi, I have been searching here, and can't figure out what to do for cellphones in Israel and Europe on vacation? We have iphone 5's and verizon. I just can't figure out how to unlock, where get SIM cards and can I use these iPhones in Prague And Israel? Please help.

There is the easiest method and the cheapest method.

For Israel you are able to "rent a sim card, or you can go to the store...set account...and save money

You just need to put to SIM card in and that's it no settings whatsoever.  Try talknsave.net or amigo they are great

The reception of talknsave in Israel was very good ( I had bad experience with other companies) and they were actually the cheapest as well. The service was good since I dealt with a local call phone store and not with them directly . And I did like there website that gives you updates on your current usage constantly

Thank you for Israel help but the iPhone and SIM card works for Europe? And don't I have to unlock the phone for Israel? Verizon does that?
