While I'd always prefer to spend less instead of more, what is most important to me is speed. More speed = more business = it eventually pays back the higher cost. But used should be fine

The HTC U11 is the fastest Android phone. It beats the Galaxy S8 by a tiny bit. It's $600 now through HTC with $50 off code. Unlocked.

Looks like it's going to end up being more like $650. Debating that vs a refurbished iPhone 7 which would cost me $540 I think
