+1. For some unknown reason the OP posted that it's instant.

I believe that the error is from SQ's side, not from AmEx side.

Huh... My intention was not to start a fight  ::)

I just saw how exited you are about the low mileage and YQ, so I told you that it's very hard to find 2 seats on that route in R. At least that used to be the case.

OK -- NO PROBLEM  :) I was not trying to fight either

I  took it as you wanted "me" to find u seats -- Dan did that for u

truth is i am not excited ---as after i get to FRA need onward flight  to ATH and  ANY SAVING WILL JUST ABOUT BE EATEN UP by that flight ,---------- though I have not flown SQ in 20 years ( they and cx were the 2 best back then )  --- maybe will try them as I know they are  a great airline --

I could have always transferred with MR to SQ just never had the need

Just buy a Cheap OW from FRA to ATH with A3...

That is what i usually do --TKS-- BUT -- wife and I travel with two "FULL" suitcases each and the luggage fee changes  it from CHEAP -- ANYWAY  just may do it  next trip especially since UA.. JFK-FRA-ATH IS VERY  limited in biz , in past easy to find
