Considering that in this case they used to be there that is unlikley.
There are numerous examples of where species were brought into places and ended up wreaking havoc because they were not indigenous. But as Aygart said, this was different, because wolves were *re*introduced.
They disappeared 70 years before, and were probably in small numbers for 10-20 years more. Given how quickly the ecosystem evolves, it is not the same ecosystem they disappeared from. And if the ecosystem was identical, wouldn’t they disappear just like they did the first time around?
