This whole thing is so silly. The video itself shows a bunch of different competitions - the air pistol ones are the only relevant comparisons.
...goggles, lenses to prevent blur: they all wear eye protection of some sort, seems like he always wears glasses anyway so doesn't really need it. The part that's slightly unique is that a significant majority (but not all) use something that blocks the 'off' eye without having to close it, and he doesn't do that. A much smaller minority use something for the 'on' eye as well - not sure what this is but it appears to be less common anyway.
ear protectors for noise reduction: some where full blown earmuffs, some use ear plugs. He's wearing the latter.
one hand in his pocket - they all do something with their other hand to keep it steady. He's not the only one with his hand in pocket. Some grab their belt instead.
I looked at the 2016 mens gold winner - basically the same setup. This year's mens gold - same thing with the exception of the 'off' eye blocker.
