So I got the TLV-ROME-TLV stay in Israel for 5 days then TLV-CDG spend the day in Paris then CDG-Tokyo spend two nights in Tokyo and then a direct flight to EWR all for 800 and 35k united miles!

So Dan says that if you get a credit card at http://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards then you can get 2 free one-way trips from TLV to NYC. Are any of those cards not easily converted to miles? The reason I ask is cause my wife keeps saying that if we can get points on a new card that can be sold at, say a 1.4 rate then it makes sense for us to just keep the cash. If, however, one of those cards will give you miles that are not convertible to cash then I would get that card just for the miles and tix and not feel guilty about spending cash or cash equivalent. I got burned selling to a broker. No more AA for me and 35,000 + miles out the window.

Aa sent email that there was suspicious activity. account is suspended they want to know who I sold miles too and what I got in return. Can't get into account.

This might be the wrong place to post this, but are there any introductory threads about Miles and Frequent Flyer clubs? I've never had Miles to spend and don't really know how to get into the game. I searched the Forum but the search function isn't so great...

you could start by googling around a little. also read Dan's posts on miles on the main site

Just a thought. All those people that booked this price line ticket, might come to the airport and get smacked with the 'fat' fee. They're not even going to know what to do. It'll cause a huge ruckuss...

The thing is, for people who how no idea that this isn't a regular glitch ticket. This'll be a shock. They'll think they can't be charged and will make a huge fuss.
