Not a reason to remove a deal a member posted on DDF - just so that you guys can keep it to yourself.

Unfair and selfish.

Only the ones with admin and mod privileges have access to to what a regular member posted for his fellow members. Sorry, but he didn't post it just for you and your buddies - he could've just email you - if that's his intention.

Your popularity and income were and are based on deals we - simple stupid members - find and share with each other.
Don't turn your back on us and steal our intellectual property when it serves best just for you and not for us - the true owners of 99% of these deals and glitches.

I'm really disappointed in both of you - sorry for being blunt.

No offense Dan... if a layman found it on FT and linked it then I think it is safe to assume that its out there and didn't need to be removed. The backlash is only starting, and its gonna end with you writing an elaborate post explaining once again why you have to keep these things a secret.  Don't forget to follow up wit ha few linky's for some credit card offers the same day so you can capitalize on the rush.
Do you guys know what happens when you assume?

I saw it was an FD, I removed the thread and immediately PMd the OP asking if he really wanted to post a fuel dump like that in the public as it will be dead very soon (or could last for years if he keeps it to himself). I gave him the option of having it restored or remain deleted.

He told me that it is already on several other blogs and FT so it'll be dead anyway so I restored it and made the MS post.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

you guys are being way to harsh on Dan he was doing what was right, had I know this was so secretive I wouldve withheld as well but once I saw how it was already getting publicized i figured why not post

So bottom line. if you know a fuel dump, don't tell anyone, and keep it to yourself. That's what I'm getting out of it.

Maybe a compromise.  Keep the thread for today then delete it.

Meh. I booked 7/23 and 12/7 for my family, but can't find returns for either. Looks like I'm going to end up cancelling both.

Hey sorry for taking the cheap lo-blows at your site and business. I was just frustrated. Moving on, hope people are booking and enjoying this.

why is this glitch hush hush when so many other made it to ddms?
This isn't a one time glitch. Fuel dumping is a phenomenon that has existed for forever. The more it gets exposed, the sooner it will be gone

Planes can run on either gasoline (fuel) or sewage (dump). Occasionally there is a hybrid flight that will use both, and those are always significantly cheaper.
