Do we know if the US version has a removable battery? Nice looking UI.

Can't decide if I should wait for this to come out. If I don't, I'll probably just go with the S5.

so verizon is pricing the LG G3 at 29.99/month on the edge program...more expensive than any other phone i looked at... s5 is 24.99/month. I am on a large family plan so i get $25/month off my bill for being on edge. Most phones end up being free or better but this will cost me $5/month...should i wait, is it only that high because it's just coming out now? will it go down soon? any advice?

Every time I see this device I can't figure out why more people don't pick one up over the s5. The OS is so much nicer than the Galaxy and the device itself is physically fantastic.

Wish they had a mini version on Sprint.

I badly wanted to get one but I dropped my s3 off a train in april and had to buy a new phone. Only option was the s5 (wanted removable battery) at that point. My wife has the g2, and other than some strange mic issues, she loves it.

Unless she holds the phone about an inch or so from her cheek her voice would come through completely muffled. It sounded like she was wrapping it in a towel and sitting on it while talking. She couldn't hold it betwean her cheek and shoulder while holding the baby, etc.  It's happened to 2/4 phones. First one started about 5 months after she got it, and got warranty replacement. Second one had unresponsive screen so was replaced, and the third one almost immediately had the mic issue, and was eventually replaced - the first CS rep said that there was nothing wrong, as long as it works one way its fine. Needless to say I got his manager who replaced it.

Does it allow you to customize the buttons on the bottom? See pic. I like the dropdown button

I love larger phones having owned all the Note series. I switched to the LG G3 after cracking my Note 3. I love this phone. Screen is amazing and the size is perfect. With the Note it was a tad to large, the LG G3 is perfect for me.

I have an otterbox on my phone, I don't believe I've ever had that issue.
