If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

Can a fan prevent overheating if there's no vent to let air in or out?
It is not a sealed unit. It helps with overheating.

How expensive is it to purchase?  It might save your machine down the line.
Idk yet. The only one I found was in Australia and is 20 AUD. I think I'll contact the manufacturer here.

Try calling the manufacturer directly. They'll often ship parts like that free of charge

any suggestions for a monitor to place on my panel to see what's pulling the most power? My bill was crazy high. I'm assuming it was the AC but I want to make sure there isn't some hidden energy drain

Change your panel to a Leviton Wifi panel 🤣 it'll only be between $1000 - $1500🤣

I'm trying to trace the wires from my thermostat. They go somewhere near the boiler obviously but there are dozens of wire in and around  the boiler.

Any suggestions? google led me to a tone generator and amazon has tons of them, which one should I get considering I'm a newbie but very much a diyer so I would need something that actually has helpful instructions.

TIA!

Are the wires from the thermostat contained in one cable?

Never worked on a boiler system before. If you post pictures of the connections at the thermostat and boiler we might be able to figure it out.

I've changed a bunch of light fixtures over the years and never had this.

The light switch was definitely off, but I still felt a current when touching the wires. Why and how is this?

Need more info. Which wires are you touching? Did you separate any wires that were together?
