Indeed if you fail to check-in and collect every shampoo, pen, and any other item not nailed down in the room then expedia will tell the TSA to give you an extra grope on your return flight just to be sure of your lineage.

why do I need to go to LAS for scams? I can scam from anywhere, thanks to the internet.

In Las, errhh, the scamming usually works the other way round.

For all of those out there that are not planning on taking the flight portion of the itinerary. Up until the day of departure, Expedia has control of the ticket and therefore the airline cannot modify or cancel. If you call the airline on the day of, they have full control of the ticket and the airline can issue you a credit for the flight, less the cancellation fee.

You can cancel even now at least as and usairways they will just take an extra 25$ along with the canelation (at least aa)

If I missed the departure of some of the flights I booked with CO. Can I combine the credits or only change each ticket separately with a change fee of $150? $250-$150= $100 credit. Can this credit be combined or not?

well for all those that said it wouldn't work, I have a friend who booked two round trips the first leg was yesterday he checked in on line for the first leg then missed it. a few hours latter his next flight was available for check in and was subsequently canceled. he called delta and they said since he was already checked in they would reactivate the ticket he is on the flight right now. has anyone ever heard of this? maybe it only works on delta? was it a mistake?

I've been reading Ft about doing this and it seems first of all that the second segment only cancels at midnight after u miss so if the flights are one day apart getting the boarding pass for the second leg will work. Alternatively good excuses seem to work some of the time.

yes might only be able to add names to the reservation but try calling the hotel, they might tell you to call expedia but it's worth a try.

i tried with a wynn reservation and the hotel would not budge anything from expedia, now i will have to call expedia.ca and wait 1 hour....
