I just checked my starwood account online and there is a $219 credit from expedia and a $5 foreign transaction fee refund, this is before i was even charged by us air for the airfare. Its for a flight that didnt originate in canada. No need to worry anymore it looks like they are honoring all these bookings

i tried with a wynn reservation and the hotel would not budge anything from expedia, now i will have to call expedia.ca and wait 1 hour....

so i called expedia.ca, and they are willing to change the Wynn reservation to the Encore, plus I would get $36 credit back on my cc. Now thats wierd because i paid $0.00!!! You think it makes sense?! Only question is, for some reason the Wynn reservation shows a $100 resort stay credit (not sure what can be used for), but if i change to the Encore, I wont get that offer. Should I switch to Encore?

Same here, the refund posted yesterday and today the charge posted from some delta canada affiliate

Bottom line, anyone have experience with ACTUALLY getting a refund (under the $0 cost of expedia) from canceling airfaire or hotel? and was that spicifically within 24 hours to flight or not. Thanks.

Anyone cancel the hotel part of the package and still use the flight without losing the refund? The t&c said that if any part of the itinerary is cancelled then you lose the refund is that being enforced did anyone have the refund taken away? If its not a problem do i cancel through expedia or through the hotel directly?

i wasnt sure about that...are you sure it can be used for spa? that would be nice...still debating if its worth it over the Encore...i cant make a decision...
