I doubt he knows better than anyone else this would be a huge surprise if it goes thru there is 300K views of the topic on FT thats besides for the people they all told expedia may stand to lose upwards of $75 million from this. and thats assuming only 250K people booked. which is probably a very low estimate.

If this is true and expedia starts honoring stuff we should all buy short in expedia stock, cuz it will go down mighty fast at that rate....

I would write dead on the website although it looks like you can still push stuff thru but it's getting allot more difficult for some reason. dan did you book anything? I have a flight to LA and flight to MIA by booking two round trips for each.

Are you sure that's going to work? Two different airlines?
Even if you did do two different airlines, I myself booked DL into LAS and US out, and both showed up on my US itinerary...

Because I subsequently got the deal to take on a RT from Boston for a total of $296. Subtract 300 for the voucher = Mr. and Mrs. Eliteflyer are spending a free night at the Andaz

I was very tempted to also book a private limo, heli tour of the strip, and a grand canyon airplane tour but some semblance of Tafasta meruba lo tafasta came upon me and I didn't.

The people at the party weren't too peeved...I helped most of them book free trips to Vegas as well!

My facebook feed is hysterical, it seems like all of my facebook friends are discussing when they are going to Vegas and what to do there!

You could have always made the plane tickets for someone else, and the activities vouchers each get their own name for who picks them up...

No show for what? The outbound plane segment?  Yes, that would definitely cancel out the return segment.
