Few people are aware of the amazing amount of resources that are available free through Brooklynpubliclibrary.org. For access to consumer reports go into brooklynpubliclibrary.org and click on "articles & databases". Go to "electronic periodicals" and choose "brooklyn public library electronic magazines and journals list" You can then browse or search for a specific magazine such as consumer reports. You will need to log in with your library card.

There are also great resources for kids such as "bookflix" , which is a collection of popular books that will read out loud with animation. Hope you enjoy!

You can download thousands of e-books and many audio books for a limited time for free.

Most public library systems now give free online access to ebooks. I know LAPL.org does.

Same with Brooklyn library, sign up for an ecard for instant access. No proof of address needed, they're using the device location.

Yes, but no proof needed. For a physical card you need to go in to a location to pick up your card with proof of address.

I am a member of CH/UH, and that automatically gives me access lynda, and to Clevnet for Consumer reports.

It’s easy and it’s free to anyone who lives, works, owns property or goes to school in Ohio.
