I'm trying to determine if there is any way a Verizon Galaxy S4 can be converted to be used with another carrier, like TMobile. TIA!
There is.
And that way is... :-)
I know you can switch an AT&T phone to T-Mobile since they both use SIM cards. Verizon uses CDMA network that usually doesn't use SIM cards.
You probably also won't be able to use all the features on a Verizon phone if you put in a T-Mobile SIM card.
Unlock it.
If it does have a SIM card slot you might be able to unlock the Verizon phone and use it with a T-Mobile SIM card.
It is unlocked but I was told it can only be used as unlocked outside of the US. It has a sim card slot but even though it is unlocked the TMobile sim didn't work in it.
You can't change cdma to gsmhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1864990
If they both we're gsm phones you would be able to swap SIM cards, but if one is gsm and one is cdma you can't change them
Probably only a pro hacker would be able to do it
