Now, the reason why people are upset is because when they saw the initial headline, they thought they were getting a FREE trip on US airways and the 4 seconds it took until they read the post, they were let down.

I hereby conclude that the attackers should be appreciative that someone is looking for deals and willing to share them, and for the OP, maybe next time to give a little more accurate headlines posting. Thank you so much!

I didn't have a problem with the initial post, but don't think it should have been labeled as "price mistake" (I see Dan fixed that). I was irritated that OP kept repeating himself that it's a price mistake and you get double miles with AA.

How about the 1100 nonstop fares in june and 1050 nonstop fares at the end of august? Or the 1000 fares through kiev? Don't see why this deal is anything special.

There are cheaper ($1066) US airways flights in the second half of august that require a 12+hr layover btw.
