DFS are usually off lease machines and screens. Prices usually aren't good enough to warrant buying from them especially since you can get better systems with better warranty at Dell Outlet
You may be, but $100 for a 23" Used Screen that carries a 100 day warranty is in no way a deal, these are much worse than the Dell Outlet store.
Dell Financial Services is the division of Dell that deals with sales of "Off Lease" products if I recall correctly. Off lease items are generally well used even if they call them refurbs. These are very different that Dell Outlet Refurbs and different quality as well.On a side note - I deal with very large quantities of Computers, Laptops and Monitors. Dell is generally overpriced when it comes to screens. At any given time you can find decent deals on a 24" monitor for $35-$65 cheaper than Dell and equal quality.
So I can get a 24 inch monitor for $29 to $59 right now?
You can def get one for cheaper than the $94 you spent... and it wouldn't be used

so where does it say used? That's what I'm confused by. I know what the process is before Dell resells it to get it back on the market. I just don't understand how that is interpreted as used when it clearing says refurb.
Another point: Generally speaking whatever is offered on the Dell Financial Services site is a few generations old. Its like buying a car off lease - but off an older lease. The few times I looked at the site I didn't see any models that are even being sold right now or even in the last few years. The computers are generations old usually
