When's it OK to ask for compensations from companies or credit cards?
I ordered 5 pairs of glasses online and they said shipping will be anywhere between 7-14 days. Well, it's almost one month and I contacted them asking where are the glasses and I would like compensation. I ordered glasses for my 6 year old and it's not fair that he goes around all day without glasses for the last 2 weeks. Not to mention the constant nagging about when they will be arriving.
They told me they shipped it to me (in Israel) via Hong Kong and that it's in their hands now. No mention of compensation, etc.
I still haven't received the glasses.
Is this the time I contact CC company? I'm not familiar with when to ask for credit or compensation.
