Bussing is only from September through june.
No way. Just curious, why aren't askanim and Agudas Yisroel busy here as they are in Rockland county? Both situations are very similar.
are there any groups with interest in this staying on the table?
The mosdos?
what do they gain by it being unresolved
Not sure what you mean on the table. The mosdos would prefer bussing paid for by taxes as opposed to having to deal with private bussing.Non taxpayers (renters) also gain by voting yes.
I was replying to yelped
except when they buy a house they will regret it.
What could be resolved as long as the funding formula stays the same the situation is impossibleAs powerful as some askanim think they are they aren;t the NJEA, who represents the biggest voting block in the state and they will never allow vouchers or a change in the funding formula
What percentage of the school budget in howel or Jackson comes from state funds?
lmgtfy?
here is Lakewood for comparison http://www.lakewoodpiners.org/cms/lib01/NJ01001845/Centricity/Domain/4/User%20Friendly%20Budget%202015%202016.pdf
Probably, looks right+1 about Gov't accounting
I would like to know how much Lakewood is spending per public school student when you remove the private school busing and special ed numbers from the school budget. Then compare that with other NJ districts.
Bump.Lemaaseh what is going to happen?
