The regular one can't circulate the water well enough at high temps for the larger amounts of water.

What's the problem why challenges would there be with cholent
Chulent in a bag, you need to support the bag so the SV can circulate the water around it. Do you put the Chulent bag in a container with many holes etc? Just curious what the set up is.

What is special about chulent that it needs to be regulated to an exact temp, and using a slow cooker doesn't suffice? You putting non-fatty meat in the chulent?
