You get free days by renting. Emerald member gets a free day for every 7 rentals, executive every 6 and EE every 5.

Dont forget, there are other ways to earn free days.

Here's the breakdown of the program:
A) Each qualifying rental earns 300 points.
B) A free day is earned with 600 points.

C) Other ways to earn points, here's some of the ones from last years promo:
1] You are able to get 75 points (can be earned x4) for making a rental using the mobile app.
2] 250 points for pre-paying gas (x1)
3] 250 points for renting from a neighborhood location (x1).

Regular free days (not the ones from the special promo) expire on December 31 of the year following the year in which they were earned.

All types of free days work on one-way rentals.

PSA - If you are buying a free day from someone make sure you are an emerald member.
Without this they won't allow you to use the coupon.


How to convert

Converting a free day to a coupon code requires a quick call to CS, asking them to gift the free day.
You can use a second email and have them send it there (they ask for name and email). The code isn't tied to any name.
Alternatively you may be able to ask them to send it directly to you so you can deliver the gift etc. they usually send it to both the email given and your account email.

The official limit is 3 conversions per calendar year.
